CBRPD no longer prints names in the police news.  The police news is to alert our communities when and where crimes are occuring and is not intended to incite gossip about individuals.  CBRPD will print names when a subject may present a public danger.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - 1/6/2018 - three males, between the ages of 21 and 22, all of Doylestown, were observed causing a disturbance in the teens block of N. Main Street by an officer on foot patrol on 12/17/2017. All three males were found in a physical altercation. Once all defendants in question had given statements, citations were issued in accordance with their actions.

THEFT - 1/3/2018 - reported theft of a business sign, last seen 1/1/2018. The description of the sign is: made of wood, dimensions of approximately 2'x2', lt. green with white trim and gold lettering reading Comprehensive Financial Consultants, Stephen J. Agrista. CHALFONT BOROUGH PARKING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT

Please be aware that there have been some amendments to Chalfont’s Parking Ordinance which can be viewed here:

Enforcement by CBRPD will begin 2/1/2018.

If you need to park a car on the street overnight, you can still call CBRPD at 215-345-4143 giving at least 24 hours notice, with the following information:
- Car make / model
- License plate
- Address
- Date(s)

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY

Dynasty Advisors, Doylestown, reported criminal mischief to a spotlight for their business sign when it was kicked and broken on 12/29/2017 at 2:52 a.m. What appears to be a group of four, possibly male, subjects can be seen on video footage running away after one subject kicks the light. ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY

Police are investigating a retail theft from the Game Store, Doylestown, on 1/15/2018. Items stolen included assorted video games valued over $150.

The suspect pictured on the left is described as male, in his 20’s, thin build, curly brown hair, brown mustache and beard. The suspect pictured on the right is described as male, in his 20’s, thin build, long blonde hair.
