Police are investigating the theft of iPhone chargers from the 7-11 located at 495 East Street, Doylestown, in the early morning hours of 1/2/2017. Subject is a white, male, 18-25 years of age, no facial hair seen wearing a dark gray sweatshirt over a black hoodie with the hood up, jeans, and dark sneakers. Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on January 14, 2017 (approximately 2:00 AM) at the 7-11 located on E. Butler Avenue in New Britain Borough. Suspect entered the store and displayed handgun in his waistband and told the employee to empty the register. Suspect described as either light-skinned black male or white, wearing black athletic pants with white stripe down the sides of each pant leg, dark in color coat with a light stripe across the chest and a ski mask with a skull pattern printed on the face. The New Britain Inn on West Butler Ave. reported that on January 27, 2017 at 0627hrs the theft of returnable kegs had occurred. Video surveillance showed an unknown man walking through a gate in the rear of the building taking two 1/2 barrel kegs and one 1/6 barrel keg. 

The suspect is a white male, athletic build, approximately 6ft tall, weighing 180- 200lbs. He had a full beard and mustache. He was wearing a white baseball hat and dark pants with stripes.

 The vehicle is an older model, boxy sedan, possibly being an early 90’s Honda Civic or Accord.

Police are investigating a retail theft that took place on February 3, 2017 at the Wine & Spirits store on Veterans Lane, Doylestown. Video surveillance shows a black male, wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, black pants and black sneakers who walked into the store at approximately 6:00 PM and took a bottle of Cognac off the shelf. He proceeded to walk out of the store without paying.

Between 1500 and 1600hrs on March 11th 2017, a theft of a wallet containing a debit card and driver’s license occurred at Fusion Gym, 500 E. Butler Ave. New Britain Borough. The victim’s window of his vehicle was broken and his wallet was taken from the vehicle. At 1645 hours a male and female attempted to use the debit card at a Walgreen’s in North Wales.

The male is a black male, early to mid 20's, approximately 5'10", 150lbs, goatee. The male has tear drops tattooed under his right eye and the word "CASH" tattooed on the top of his right hand. The female is a white, early to mid 20's approximately 5'6", 140lbs, brown curly hair, long eyelashes.

They were seen operating a red 4 door sedan.

There have been several recent local reports of a PECO phone scam. The caller will say things like, "you haven't paid your bill" and/or "your power will be turned off if the bill isn't paid in-full," etc., and then request you acquire generic prepaid debit cards. They will provide a phone number to be called once the cards have been purchased; upon calling you'll be requested to supply the numbers on the card(s) and PIN.

BE AWARE: PECO's policy is that for bill payments they would contact the customer via certified mail NEVER over the phone.

Retail Theft - Acme 480 N. Main St., Doylestown
