PLCB Grant In Action

CBRPD has begun their Underage and Dangerous Drinking Patrols. Last week, there were over 27 arrests during patrols as a result of using plain clothes personnel and unmarked cars. This was a successful beginning to this very important initiative funded by the PLCB.

CBRPD will be sponsoring a Blood Drive

The Blood Drive will be held in Council Chambers at 57 W. Court Street, Doylestown, on Friday, January 12, 2018 between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Please register at and enter sponsor code: central bucks, or call 1-800-RED-CROSS, or email to schedule an appointment.

L-Tron Scanners

CBRPD is using new technology – Officers are equipped with L-Tron Scanners. These devices produce electronic ticketing (eCitation) which is an easier, quicker and more efficient way of completing citations and reports from the patrol vehicle. Driver’s licenses are read by the device and populate the eCitation instantly. Police regionalization continues to provide new technology opportunities like this one.
